Trillers

Okie, ladies and gentlemen, here's a little triller for you.

You wanna know the backstage work in planning this NCOC? How late the meetings wents?

NCOC 2007 EXAMINATION DETAILS

After having so much fun in the camp, here's the seriously bit.

THE EXAMS!!! (does that scare you all??)

Time:
ALTC report at 0830 hours. (Cannot be late!)
BLTC report at 1000 hours (Cannot be late!)

Venue:
Level 3, Hall

Attire:
Full Uniform

ALTC trainees fall in by platoon, BLTC trainees fall in as a contingent

Topic tested:
As according to notes posted and the remaining topics taught during course days.

When : 0930hrs, 9th November 2007 (Friday) to 1400hrs, 12th November 2007 (Monday)

Where: Dairy Farm Adventure Campsite
30 Dairy Farm Road, Singapore 679058

Reporting Venue: Bus Stop “ After Dairy Farm Road” B43069
Outside Grace Heaven Salvation Army

Reporting Time :
Platoon 1 & 2 : 0930hrs
Platoon 3 & 4 : 0935hrs
Platoon 5 & 6 : 0940hrs

Reporting Attire : Physical Training Attire
Corp t-shirt and Corp training shorts / black track pants

Dismissal Venue: Saint John Ambulance Headquarters

Dismissal Time: 1400hrs (2pm)

Camper Kit List


1. Clothes sufficient for FOUR training days

a. T-Shirts (either school, Corp t-shirts or plain white round neck t-shirts)
b. One dark coloured t-shirt
c. Shorts / Track Pants (either Corp training short or black shorts with no /
minimal design i.e. strips)
d. Undergarments as required
e. Drill Order (i.e. nametag, beret)
f. Windbreaker / Jacket (optional)
g. Poncho

2. Footwear
a. Track shoes / School physical activity shoes
b. Slippers / Sandals (for bathing time)
c. Boots (to be polished)
d. Socks (White AND Black normal length socks i.e. no ankle length sock or
soccer socks)

3. Toiletries
a. Required items for 4 day residential camp (no electrical items allowed)

4. Writing Materials
a. Pen / Pencil
b. Foolscap paper
c. Homework
d. Necessary project materials

5. Miscellaneous
a. EZ link card with at least $5 value / bus concession pass
b. Torchlight with batteries
c. Cutleries (fork and spoon)
d. Small plastic mug (green in colour)
e. Student pass
f. Personal insect repellent
g. Sleeping Bag (optional)
h. Personal medication (as required)
i. 1.5 Litre water bottle x 2
j. Full Field Cooking Set (ALTC only)
a. Mess Tins
b. Tommy Stove
c. One packet of solid fuel
k. Rags (at least one per trainees and to be discarded after camp)

NCOC 2007 announcements

ST JOHN AMBULANCE BRIGADE
ZONE 3 NCO COURSE 2007


Date : 20th October 2007, Saturday
Time : 0830hrs (8.30am)
Venue : Hall, Level 3,
St John National Headquarters,
420 Beach Road, Singapore 199582

Reporting Attire :
Full Brigade Uniform with beret and without rank slides and proficiency badges (only Total Defence / Bronze Foot Drill Instructor badges are allowed)


Items to bring along :

1. Writing Materials (Including foolscap paper)
2. One SJAB based T-shirt
3. Notes for the Course Day 1 available at www.sjabzone3.org from the 17th
of October onwards.
4. Money to acquire lunch at an external eatery in the vicinity of St. John
Ambulance Headquarters
5. 1.5 l Water bottles


Miscellaneous Instructions:

1. Be punctual for the course day. If unable to either attend the course day or
to report for the course day at the above-mentioned time, kindly inform he
Duty Officer by calling the DO Hotline either prior or within the 1st half
hour after the commencement of the course day.

2. If trainees’ Next-of-Kin would like to get in touch with the trainee during
the Course, kindly contact the trainee through the Duty Officer by calling
eh DO St. John Hotline

3. DO Hotline Number: (will be release by your corp teachers)
Operating hours: Fri, eve of Course Day, 0800 hours to
Sun, Course Day, 2359 hours
