Remembrance Sunday

Remembrance Sunday.

It's the zone 3's turn to represent the St John Ambulance Singapore to attend the event. It's an event to remember to all those who had died in the World Wars, especially during the Second World War.

Reporting time was 0615 hours, a awefully early timing, for all of us, but despite the rain, we proceed along to our first destination, Kranji War Memorial Park.

It's a solemn ceremony. Representatives from all Commonwealth, as well as a detachment from the British Navy was there as well. We all stood in the rain, as we listened to the speeches, the songs, the salutes and the 2 minutes silence.

After the event, we proceed to the Civilian War Memorial Park at City Hall, for another ceremony.

The SJAB contingent

Chatting before the start of the event.

SJAB officers with the SAF Veterans League members.

And the memorial service started.

One minute silence.

And group photographs

And it's over.

To those who had made the ultimate sacrifice to Singapore during the World Wars, We will always remember and respect you.

May you all rest in peace.

And may there be world peace.
